* We need someone who has successfully marketed technology solutions to HR and/or line of business buyers. Ideally you would come from the more forward-looking HCM vendors (e.g., success factors, Taleo, Saba), from successful collaboration companies (e.g. Jive, yammer, box.net, Dropbox) or from successful business solution providers (e.g., salesforce.com, Adobe, Documentum, NetSuite.

* This position will be responsible for the overall Socialtext marketing strategy and execution, including positioning, messaging, branding, lead generation, and product marketing. The Sr. Director/VP will be a key member of the executive team and manage a growing a team of dedicated marketing employees, as well as recruit and optimize external resources to cover functions such as PR, design, writing, media buying, etc.

* We are looking for an exceptional professional with deep experience in b2b software marketing. SaaS and social technology experience a plus.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

■Execute on the existing marketing plan in the short-term, and provide a revised marketing strategy and plan for the 2013/2014 timeframe, and beyond.
■Build out a highly effective team of internal and external resources, spanning across all major marketing disciplines.
■Monitor lead generation success, public relations traction, social media footprint, and general sales enablement progress.
■Direct and manage the marketing team to perform per the established scorecard criteria.
■Provide guidance to the leadership team regarding the strategic direction of the company.
■Work closely with other members of the management team to drive marketing and sales performance.

Qualifications include:

■8-10 years minimum experience in marketing and management.
■Deep experience and success record with social, mobile, cloud-based offerings to the enterprise market.
■Strong understanding of lead generation, inbound marketing, social media marketing, and ROI models.
■Ability to build out a diverse and high-performing team.
■Abilities to manage the functional team, as well as across the different levels of the organization.
■Presence to represent the company with analysts, the press, customers, and other external parties
