Position Summary:
The Senior HR Technology Analyst provides a vital link between Human Resources’ technology capabilities and its business objectives. As a member of a strong, collaborative team, this individual will be responsible for identifying HR business needs, assessing the impact of proposed changes, capturing and documenting requirements, and ensuring improved workflows and technology solutions are delivered to meet those needs whilst supporting the business.
Responsibilities:
· Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness of HR systems and processes
· Be a change facilitator within the organization. Deliver effective solutions which provide tangible business benefits.
· Develop Business Cases for proposed projects
· Elicit requirements, conduct analysis, and specify requirements in written form, communicating clearly to stakeholders and partners
· Use requirements to drive the creation of test cases, process change requests, and manage a project’s scope, acceptance, and deployment
· Conduct functional testing, data validation, and user acceptance testing
· Collaborate with functional and IT staff to execute systems upgrades; conduct impact assessments, test, and deploy HR system upgrades and patches.
· Run and distribute scheduled HR reports
· Provide production support for HR and managers regarding Workday issues
· Provide education, communication, and training on HR systems and related processes
· Provide operational support: research, troubleshoot, and resolve HR technology issues; respond to inquiries and incidents raised by HR users, internal clients groups, and the broader employee and manager self-service populations
· Ensure data integrity in systems through audit reports, data analysis, and collaboration with other team members and subject matter experts
· Serve alongside other HR Technology team members as system security administrator
Required Skills and Competencies:
· BA/BS degree required
· 5+ years of experience with HRIS systems, Workday experience required
· Experience in project management, system design, business process design and documentation, specification preparation, and application testing
· Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications
· Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, team structure
· Superior relationship building skills
Keys to this Position:
1) We are seeking a Techno/Functional HR Analyst with Workday experience. The individual should have experience implementing new HR Workday functionality. Some of the modules we are currently working with include Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, etc. This role sits in HR and works with IT and Vendors as well as other business function leaders.
2) The ideal candidate will have at least 8 to 10 years of experience with at least some exposure to Workday (at least 6 months but 2 to 3 years would be ideal). Previous to Workday the candidate should have experience working with other HR Systems.
3) We will look at career consultants that want get off the road and build their careers.
4) Ideal candidates will have had previous experience at either Workday shops or at Workday Partners.
