Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking Global Partner Field Communications consultant for our client in San Jose, CA. The Global Partner Field Communications consultant is responsible for ensuring that our clients' global field organization, along with their partner community, are informed, inspired and aligned around the company's go-to-market partner strategy. As a valued business partner, this includes working cross-functionally to create partner GTM value proposition messaging framework, develop and support a Partner Advisory Board program, support the partner leadership team, and lead partner / customer reference activities.
The Consultant is accountable for delivering upon a consistent partner communications strategy and engaging with the company's top partners, including global alliances, agencies, systems integrators and independent software vendors. The Consultant will collaborate significantly with cross-functional teams across the Global Marketing organization, the business units and the Worldwide Field organization to deliver upon the communications strategy and partner goals. This collaboration includes but is not limited to partner marketing, sales operations, enablement support, events, social media, partner sales readiness, and tracking and reporting metrics.
Responsibilities:
Creating and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy that addresses the needs of the global partner organization and measures the success of key communications initiatives
Providing communications support to senior leaders within the global partner organization, on strategic cross-functional projects
Managing a holistic "partner community" communications program targeting internal and external audiences, partnering with the global marketing organization and the Digital Marketing Business Unit
Creating and maintaining the master communications brief and messaging hierarchy that supports the unique value proposition of the value partners bring to the company that is reciprocated for each of the targeted audience segments
Acting as content lead (editor) for home page of the Solution Partner Portal
Communicating strategic partner initiatives to applicable stakeholders through a variety of mediums (emails, social channels, video, web content, collateral, presentations, press and industry analyst briefings, etc.)
Building a partner / customer reference program to support the company's GTM goals
Supporting the content creation of all internal global partner all hands meetings (Partner TV)
Writing and delivery of all organizational announcements that address the partner ecosystem
Supporting executive speaker content and presentation development for all external/industry events
Creating partner focused thought leadership content for partner leadership team
Developing "business impact" program that focuses on partner implementations (and "go lives") with select customers to showcase best practices and how partners are helping our clients' customers become best in class digital marketers
Establishing and maintaining innovative communications mechanisms and channels to engage internal teams, partners and industry influencers
Identifying opportunities for greater organizational visibility through public relations, analyst relations, industry relationships and social networking
Skills:
8-10 years' marketing/communications experience for at least one enterprise technology company
Must have prior experience communicating to a large partner community including systems integrators (SIs), a strong grasp of the partner ecosystem and its' contribution to/impact on revenue generation
Understanding of customer expectations related to enterprise and consumer software deployment
Ability to contribute individually, and lead, manage or participate in cross-functional teams
Experience working with global teams to define standards and guiding principles for regional alignment
Aggregate content and synthesize large amounts of information into actionable insights
Think strategically plus execute effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong relationship-building talents
Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
Highly independent, ability to work productively with general direction
A healthy sense of humor
Proficiency with social media tools and techniques
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
College diploma or BA/BS degree in a related discipline
Pay:
D.O.E., as a w2 employee of Crawford Group (benefits available)
Location:
Initially fully onsite at client offices in San Jose, CA, with some flexibility to work virtually/telecommute once relationships are established. No phone calls, please.
Hours/duration:
Full time consulting, ASAP – January 30, 2017, with potential to convert to full time/salaried employee of client.
