We are looking for an Internal Communications Manager for a contract opportunity at a large high technology company in Sunnyvale, CA. This is internally-facing role supporting the internal corporate communications function, working closely with client executives, internal stakeholders, and the global communications team.
This is a 40 hrs per week 11 month contract role, onsite at the client's offices in Sunnyvale, CA. This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee, health benefits offered.
Responsibilities:
• Develop content for internal communications vehicles
• Creation of story lines to support company priorities
• Manage editorial calendar for corporate internal communications team
• Creation of web banners
• Publish content to intranet
• Manage inbound internal communications
• Assist the internal communications team with projects as needed, such as company All Hands
Requirements:
• 4 years+ internal communications experience in the high-tech industry
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills; ability to build relationship at a global level
• Strong verbal/written communication and editorial skills; attention to detail; strong storytelling skills
• Some design and graphics experience
• Passion for corporate level employee communications
• Strong tactical skills, but possesses the ability to think and contribute at the strategic level on topics ranging from operations to storytelling
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to balance working independently while managing "up"
• Professional appearance and manner with a positive, fun, and optimistic attitude
• Project management skills; Microsoft Office Suite skills; WordPress
