Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking an Email Marketing Program Specialist for our technology client. The Email Marketing Program Specialist will partner with our clients' Product Marketing Managers, strategists, analysts, creatives and deployment specialists to drive production and execution of email programs (batched and triggered) with the goal of converting and retaining customers. Major areas of responsibility include executing e-mail programs for the free and paid member audiences including triggered communications to members who have recently tried or purchased desktop and mobile products.<br /><br /> The ideal consultant is exceptionally detail oriented, adaptive to changing priorities, works well autonomously and across internal and external teams. <br /><br /> Responsibilities:<br /><br /> Collaborate and working effectively across multiple teams, internal and external agencies and BU stakeholders to produce, review and finalize email communications <br /><br /> Work with analytics and database teams to structure and define complex e-mail list requests and business rules, including data segmentation, localizations, and unique tracking codes to ensure audience criteria meets the program goals.<br /><br /> Oversee the end-to-end production and implementation of each email communication. This includes:<br /><br /> Kick off projects through At Task product management system<br /><br /> Assist with creative reviews <br /><br /> Manage timelines to meet drop dates<br /><br /> Email tracking setup<br /><br /> Submit list requests and program requirements with complex segmentation program schedule/maintain weekly calendars<br /><br /> Contact management<br /><br /> QA emails (links, content, sends)<br /><br /> Familiar with audience counts, validate info<br /><br /> Monitor post send performance<br /><br /> Creative history/summary deck<br /><br /> Process refinement for efficiency<br /><br /> Maintain accuracy of in market creative over time<br /><br /> Manage project costs/estimates, submit PO requests<br /><br /> Work closely with dashboards to report on program results and develop insights on program performance, learnings and/or anomalies<br /><br /> Monitor unsubscribe, bounce, open and click through rates of communications to ensure the marketable universe remains healthy <br /><br /> Developing an understanding of:<br /><br /> Multiple products, plan types, and audience segments<br /><br /> Complex architecture for triggered email programs and business rules<br /><br /> Skills:<br /><br /> 3-5 years' experience in creating and delivering emails to worldwide audiences for at least one large, matrixed company. This includes: experience with regional preferences, best practices awareness of typical response rates and behaviors, adding codes for tracking, A/B multivariate testing.<br /><br /> SaaS experience from major companies with highly transactional business models preferred<br /><br /> Familiarity developing and deploying communications on one or more email service/CRM platforms: Exact Target, Eloqua, Silverpop, Responsys, Adobe Campaign or similar<br /><br /> Ability to define and ensure implementation of program tracking to gain key insights for program optimization<br /><br /> Awareness of consumer behavior, buyer personas and audience segmentation<br /><br /> Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and as part of a team across many agencies, product groups, and countries <br /><br /> Strong attention to detail is required to execute flawless programs<br /><br /> Solid written and verbal communication skills, confidence presenting to groups of different sizes<br /><br /> Bachelors' degree or 5 years of applicable experience<br /><br /> Pay: <br /><br /> D.O.E., as a w2 employee of Crawford Group (benefits available)<br /><br /> Location: <br /><br /> Onsite 4 days per week at clients' offices in San Francisco, CA (preferred), or alternatively in San Jose, CA.
