We are looking for an event marketing coordinator to support a global high tech company in Sunnyvale, CA. The event coordinator will provide administrative and logistics support for multiple events/program managers to focus to support proprietary and industry events. Responsibilities will include task management for multiple projects, working with vendors, and coordinating logistics. Project management skills and experience, a positive attitude, attention to details, and dedication are required for success.
This is a 40 hours per week; 9 month project onsite at the client's offices in Sunnyvale, CA. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee, health benefits offered.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with attendee registration and hotel accommodations
• Responsible for staging, shipping, packing/unpacking as well as assist in the set-up and tear-down of tradeshow booths for multiple events
• Responsible for inventory tracking of promotional items (giveaways and raffles)
• Provide on-site staffing and support for various events
• Point of contact for smaller shows/events
• Provide support to more senior members of the team as needed
• Assist with internal system requests for POs, email automation and registration sites
• Responsible for equipment inventory and software updates as needed
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in tradeshow management, event management, housing and registration, and administrative work.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
• Highly organized with a high level of attention to detail
• Aptitude for learning new event tools/technologies
• Ability to follow and accurately reflect the brand guidelines
• Good Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
• High energy and driven to succeed with a positive attitude
• Proven ability to take clear direction and act immediately upon it to successfully complete the task at hand
• Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to travel
