Our European client is a global leader in wireless and positioning semiconductors, and is searching for a "Prospecting Sales Manager."
This is a non-traveling sales position working with the existing US sales team and working out of your own home office.
The major responsibility for this position is to prospect by making 'cold calls' to find new accounts in their vertical markets and industry segments.Additionally, this position will make sales calls and provide first-line product recommendations.
On occasion, this position may require managing small existing and prospective accounts.Will support the President, VPs Sales, and Sales Directors in their sales management tasks.
Requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
*Must have experience in sales and prospecting, preferably in the technology industry, and the position requires a basic knowledge of electronics.*
Must be proficient in Words, Excel, PowerPoint and other office software.Must have experience with CRM systems, preferably SalesForce.com.
Compensation:$60k-$62k +bonus + 15 days of vacation, plus company stock options. Base salary is firm, and commissions are typically in the 30% range.
Must be authorized to work in USA.
