Regional Sales Director<br /><br /> Silicon Valley<br /><br /> Wireless Semiconductor<br /><br /> Our client is a thriving leader in wireless semiconductors and modules, and is searching for a Regional Sales Director located in the Silicon Valley. This is an individual contributor role.<br /><br /> This position will have sales responsibility for the GNSS receiver, cellular modem, and short range wireless products in SF Bay Area/Silicon Valley and requires experience in sales of microcontrollers and semiconductors, and/or analog integrated circuits, as well as GPS, wireless technology and firmware development.<br /><br /> The Regional Sales Director will manage existing and future accounts, including key accounts. The candidate will report to the VP Sales West Coast. Responsible for existing and new customers, finding new design-in opportunities, and increasing the customer base in this region. <br /><br /> Also complete responsibility for the full sales cycle, including cold calling, lead follow-up, design-win, closing opportunities, getting purchase orders for the region.<br /><br /> Requires a BSEE or MSEE, or Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, and a minimum five or more years of experience in sales of microcontrollers and semiconductors, and/or analog integrated circuits, as well as experience with wireless technology, GPS, and firmware development. <br /><br /> Must have excellent communications, presentation and negotiation skills, and be at ease with engineers, while comfortable with customers on the executive level.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> Frequent travel on West Coast, and occasional travel internationally.<br /><br /> Base salary negotiable plus bonus (in lieu of commission.)<br /><br /> This position will require a home office to conduct business.<br /><br /> Qualified and interested candidates should forward their credentials to resumes@marcomjobs.com<br /><br /> Further information available.<br /><br />
