Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a full time Sr. Digital Copywriter consultant for our client Lexmark, located in Lexington, Kentucky. The Sr. Digital Copywriter will be responsible for copy writing, copy editing, proofreading and managing the copy process and communications for Lexmark´s corporate marketing digital campaigns.
Candidacy for this assignment requires proven digital copywriting experience, developing content that translates marketing strategies and established product/technical communication into innovative digital content. Must have an understanding of the Enterprise B to B technology market space. The ideal consultant is a creative, confident, flexible driver with exceptional interpersonal skills.
Specific responsibilities include:
* Working from a campaign plan, interface regularly with stakeholders from Product Marketing and Field Sales teams to gather relevant information in order to create benefits-driven and persuasive digital campaign copy.
* Provide copy for all interactive formats including: emails, website updates, special features, digital advertising campaigns and social media initiatives
* Negotiate effective solutions that support both business and brand objectives
* Confer with digital design team to maximize visual impact of copy concepts
* Collaborate with marketing to fulfill project objectives
* Work with production team to maintain adherence to production procedures, workflow, and schedules
* Manage time efficiently to meet all project deadlines
* Proofread projects for clarity, accuracy and brand and legal compliance
Skills:
* 11-13 years of copywriting experience within the Technology industry, B to B within experience in content for digital mediums.
* Must understand Enterprise and direct selling
* Superior writing, editing and proofreading skills. Must have an exceptional grasp of grammar, syntax and style. Writing samples/portfolio examples demonstrating strong digital focus and industry experience required
* Confident, diplomatic and credible presence for partnering with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the organization
* Program management experience to drive the team and overall campaigns
* Solid proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
* Experience with Eloqua a plus
* BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, PR or similar
Rate: $2,600/week D.O.E. as a w2 employee of Crawford Group
Location: Onsite at client offices in Lexington, KY. No phone calls please.
Hours/duration: ASAP, full time. Relocation to Lexington, Kentucky after 90 days required (may include a relocation package). High potential for conversion to permanent/full time employee of client after 90 days.
