As our Senior Marketing Manager, Strategic Alliances based in our offices in San Mateo, CA; Broomfield, CO; or San Diego, CA, you will lead the effort to create, execute and measure marketing, sales and lead generation programs with partners and highly valuable strategic alliance prospects. Critical to your success in this role will be your passion for marketing technology products and services, and your ability to be highly collaborative and results driven.

Your thorough knowledge of SA marketing and strong ability to connect business strategy with marketing objectives will be essential. You will work collaboratively to identify our primary target audience, positioning, segment specific message/content to the market, voice and critical business issues, and determine the best methods to communicate in a compelling manner to the target audience.

Responsibilities
• Single point of contact for developing, managing and executing marketing communications for online and offline programs
• Must build and drive the planning process with partners and with the internal teams
• Need to be able to work with PR resources in the partner and internationally
• Develops, manages and executes on and offline SA partner communications
• Develops, manages and executes on and offline SA prospect and lead generation programs
• Manages marketing funding and ensures compliance of business partners to contracts
• Collaboratively with sales, develops and then communicates yearly, quarterly plans to stakeholders
• Works with internal stakeholders across marketing and online teams; works as needed with the web team to support SA partner programs

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
• Reports to Vice President of Global Marketing Programs

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Related experience in developing and executing marketing programs
• Creativity and thinking "differently" a must; no is not an appropriate answer, only yes or negotiate; must be a creative problem solver
• Online and social media marketing experience, in addition to traditional marketing a plus
• Must be able to analyze market and sales data that then drives development of successful communications and programs
• Must be able to work in a "startup" environment and want to "build" something great; not maintain the status quo
• Must have desire to rollup their sleeves and work collaboratively to get work completed
• Prior industry experience in marketing technology, software-as-a-service and/or IT security experience is strongly preferred
• Must possess a passion for customers and unflinching desire to exceed their expectations
• Must be a master at creating clear, differentiated, and customer-focused product positioning and messaging.
• Must be a self-starter with proven ability to take initiative as well as balance competing priorities
• Must have excellent follow-through, be able to work with minimal direction, and balance the requirements of multiple stakeholders within an organization.
• Must be flexible and enjoy working in an extremely fast-paced environment

• Analytically & strategically focused- ability to translate business objectives into marketing strategies
