[KITlist] Marketing Content Manager (Palo Alto, CA)

Please direct your responses to: http://alicanto.theresumator.com/apply/gye61s/Marketing-Content-Manager.html

Alicanto (formerly known as Grroo) is a new, well funded, start-up, founded in 2011. Based on a state-of-the-art artificial intelligence our product provides small and medium businesses with what they need in order to better compete.

Our mission
We help small businesses grow and reach new and existing customers by recommending and managing all their marketing activities.

What is Alicanto?
Marketing is an integral part of running a successful business, but most small businesses simply cannot afford their own Chief Marketing Officers. With Alicanto, they don't have to.
We want small businesses to succeed, so we want them to have the marketing tools at their disposal that will best help them. To that end, we're like a virtual Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for our clients, one who provides marketing guidance and ensures that your customers are well cared for and informed about what's going on with your business.
We know you face stiff competition from large businesses who would love to eat you alive. We want you to take a bite out of their business by giving you the means to compete against them. You've seen what they can do: send out slick birthday cards with steep discounts, for example, ones which draw business into their stores at a time when customers are likely to treat themselves.
With Alicanto, you can do so much more. You can also send out holiday promotions, keep your Facebook and Twitter feeds up-to-date and relevant to your cause and maintain other social media campaigns. And you can work together with other businesses in your area to foster relationships that will help both of you increase traffic to your businesses through our Alliance program. With all these tools at your disposal, you'll have an arsenal to win the fight for marketing success!
We are extremely passionate about helping small businesses rise above the big corporations of this country (e.g. Wal-Mart's, Target´s, etc) that often run small businesses out of town when they move in.

Responsibilities:

The Marketing Content Manager is a critical member of our Small Business CMO team responsible for taking our products to market.
