Position: Senior Account Executive (Los Gatos)
We are a global, full-service, high-tech PR agency with an opening for a Senior Account Executive in our Los Gatos office. Gutenberg Communications is looking for a dynamic, experienced public relations professional to oversee the day-to-day activities on global accounts, ensure successful execution of public relations plans, and build relationships with the media and analysts. Ideal candidates must be highly motivated, proactive individuals with at least 4-6 years relevant experience, excellent written and verbal skills, a fundamental grasp of social media platforms, and an ability to thrive in a cross-cultural, entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities include:
• Serve as senior contact and counselor for clients, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of clients´ business; develop strategy for implementing successful PR and marketing programs.
• Develop, maintain and grow key relationships with clients beyond just the management of their business; meet regularly with clients to assure their satisfaction relative to quality and service.
• Help draft public relations plans and executing them within the time stipulated agreed upon by client and internal team.
• Establish and maintain relationships with journalists from various media outlets.
• Prepare or edit documents for internal and external audiences, including press releases, briefing documents, byline articles, media databases and account activity reports.
• Develop and execute social media plans on popular social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
