" All the action in the world of PR is at the indi level. Multinationals are swallowing too many clients to work effectively and as they get larger, the client service will suffer, people will jump ship and there will be a brain drain. This is an excellent time to get involved with an agency that is part of a global network. AOR is becoming a practice that is going by the wayside. The advantage for a client whose agency is a network member of a large group of media related firms who work together when there is no profit incentive to keep businesses at a particular office when it is more beneficial to the client to tap a partner is obvious. Tap a partner based on geography or expertise. It is the best thing for both parts: the agency and the client."
My client is a member of a global network of agencies. They are looking to add a VP to their growing staff in the southbay. Currently they have 18 staff members and their clients are in the B2B and B2C space. A person who is currently at an agency in the Bay Area on track for a VP title is the ideal candidate. They work with midsize companies (no start ups) and focus on social media, product work as well as communications.
Please send me a resume ONLY if you are qualified for the position. And at this time, that simply means someone who is currently or most recently with a PR agency (ideally in the southbay), in B2B, B2C tech, who has supervisory/mentoring skills and experience, a successful track record of new business development and enjoys working in a tight knit group. A passion for good communications, telling a story, being effective is the key.
