Job Summary

As Brand Manager, your specific responsibilities will include:

• Develop and manage product/brand marketing strategy, messaging and positioning for assigned brands.

• Responsible for analysis of existing/potential markets and customer segments, identifying associated business opportunities, and developing related marketing strategies.

• Responsible for the development of product strategies, definition of promotional activities, and product expansions and/or launches. (Exs - drive product strategy for new advertising campaigns, brand creative refreshes, rebranding, etc.)

• Influence cross functional marketing and PR team strategies, and lead multi-channel team efforts to support brand strategy.

• Expert in brand's customers, the brand's vertical focus area, and the staffing industry.

• Develop and lead integrated program strategies for key customer types/segments and business opportunities, driving brand awareness, leads, customer retention and acquisition.

• Measure and analyze ROI, and apply key learning's to future programs.

• Drive creativity and innovation in brand marketing strategy and programs.

• Collaborate with key business partners (executives, functional marketing teams, PR, training, field, etc.) to develop program strategy.

• Expert level understanding of brand's customer base and segmentation opportunities.

• Lead competitive and industry research for brand/s overseen, identifying customer needs and preferences.

• Has expert level knowledge of brand and customer research for assigned brands, as well as key operational statistics and business drivers, and industry trends and data.

• Responsible for developing customer personas that map to our sales process and our customer buying cycle

• Develop annual business plans and marketing budgets for managed brands, including advertising budget management for all product lines overseen.

• Responsible for driving marketing and PR business plan process for assigned brands, including partnering with the brand executives and influencing cross-functional teams.

• Must develop business plan strategies that drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share.

• May directly or indirectly manage an Associate Marketing Manager and/or Marketing Manager.

• Responsible for training full time and freelance personnel, as well as influencing indirect reports and members of cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Advanced degree a plus.

• 8+ years' of marketing experience, with 5+ years' of experience in marketing management.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience communicating with executive level audiences.

• Experience developing marketing/brand strategy.

• Experience with print, outdoor, radio and TV advertising, collateral development, video, direct mail, database marketing, customer segmentation, and online marketing, including social media, SEO, etc.

• Experience in a B2B industry is a plus but not required.

• Experience managing strategic partnerships and with negotiations/difficult conversations is a plus.

• Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
