Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a full time/permanent Creative Director for our client, an experiential marketing agency client in San Francisco, CA. Our client builds award-winning campaigns from strategy to creative to execution and has fabrication on both coasts as well as production teams in top markets. Reporting to the Managing Director, Creative and Account teams, the Creative Director will craft compelling experiences that drive consumer action, advocacy and brand conversations.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for setting overall creative vision and driving visual and experience design for client programs
Oversees development of creative department for agency, to include a blend of internal and
external resources (e.g, graphic design, 3D renderers, digital, fabrication, etc.)
Sources, hires and manages internal team of direct reports
Continually sources and screens a range of creative resources to tap for programs from a
wide variety of clients
Directs full project lifecycle from initial conceptualization and pitch materials through every
aspect of project development to selecting fabrication partners for build and installation
Maintains strong client, freelance and vendor relationships
Partners with account teams to present concepts to clients for approval
Partners with Executive Producer and account team leaders to set appropriate budgets and
ensure delivery of concepts within them
Continually keeps abreast of the ever changing landscape of experiential marketing,
delivering fresh thinking to the agency and clients
Skills:
8-12 years' experience, with demonstrated expertise in experiential marketing, agency and
lifestyle brand experience a plus
Exceptional creative talent and demonstrated expertise in experiential marketing, agency and lifestyle brand experience a plus
3+ years of experience managing/leading a team and excited about the possibility of building
a team from scratch
Digitally savvy with hands-on experience bringing innovative digital solves into experiential
activations a plus
Thinks innovatively and blends big ideas with realistic execution
Strong design, verbal, organizational and time management skills
Curious and eager to explore new challenges
Professional maturity with a positive can-do vibe
Entrepreneurial mindset, with a take-it-to-the-next-level mentality
Nimble and flexible, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently and problem solve on the fly
Experience in all current design programs and software
BA/BS required
SALARY: D.O.E; as full time/permanent employee of client
LOCATION: Fully onsite at clients' San Francisco offices
HOURS/DURATION: Standard business hours, PST. ASAP – permanent, full time employment. No phone calls, please
