Field Marketing Manager – High Growth Start Up (San Francisco, CA)
A high growth Application Performance solutions company is looking for a Field Marketing Manager to work closely with sales to meet regional sales objectives. Field Marketing activities include events, webinars, campaigns and other programs.
This is a 6 month contract to perm (ideally) role, 40 hours per week, onsite in San Francisco, CA, up to 50% regional travel. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee, health benefits offered.
Responsibilities:
• Support the quarterly revenue and pipeline goals of the region.
• Develop a unified event and field marketing strategy addressing multiple target customer segments
• Maintain a 90 day rolling calendar of activities for the region including webinars, marketing campaigns, events and other programs.
• Plan and execute all aspects of regional events such as user groups, CIO dinners, local 3rd party shows, and regional EBC meetings.
• Proactively manage the events budget to test and learn what works; evaluate results against goals and generate learnings for improvement.
• Work with Inside and Field sales teams to create and execute regional sales campaigns such as call downs, email blasts etc.
• Arm sales teams with tailored templates, emails and copy to leverage in customer outreach.
• Ensure timely lead routing and follow up with call scripts and other sales tools
Requirements:
• 6+ years of experience in field marketing in an enterprise solutions/software company
• Up to 50% travel in region
• Able to work in a fast paced, highly matrix organization
• Entrepreneurial, start up experience. Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Clear, thoughtful communicator (verbal and written)
• Working knowledge of Marketo, Salesforce.com, GoodData
• Demonstrated analytical approach, understanding of core marketing and pipeline metrics
• Bachelor Degree
