Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a full time Email Marketing Data Analyst for our technology client. This work can be done partially onsite at clients office in San Jose, or fully remotely. The Email Marketing Data Analyst Consultant will be an integral part of the strategic conversion and retention efforts for our clients SaaS offerings. The Consultant will analyze large data sets, make assessments, synthesize the data and translate the key findings in PowerPoints that convey the data in a succinct and compelling visual manner.
The ideal candidate for this position has demonstrated expertise in database and relationship marketing and specifically in the conversion of free members and retention of paid members through active use and engagement. Candidates should have an understanding of current direct marketing trends and an interest in sharing this knowledge by providing guidance on best practices. Must have strong internal self-motivation and proven ability to work proactively and independently in a remote work setting.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with Excel dashboards to develop views and trends which show audience level insights. Create PowerPoint decks of trends and insights for Quarterly Business Reviews.
Develop data driven yearly, quarterly and test plans to drive acquisition and retention efforts
Perform quarterly email business audits to address database health, trends and test results
Develop a deep understanding of clients audience segments and performance metrics
Share insights for direct marketing optimization and best practices
May use Tableau to create interesting dashboards
Skills:
7+ years experience in email/direct/response/relationship marketing
Strong preference for candidates with prior/recent experience at SaaS companies with freemium or free-to-paid offerings
Strong background in relationship/CRM marketing with recent operational-level experience
Expert Excel skills: Must be adept with Excel based dashboards including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs and IF Statements functionalities
Experience in Tableau and Site Catalyst a plus
Understanding of web-analytics tools and experience applying web-analytics insights to marketing programs and strategies
Strong business analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal communication, both written and verbal, as well as strong PowerPoint presentation skills required
Self-motivation: Must have the proven ability to work proactively and independently in a remote setting
Strong attention to detail is required
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Bachelors degree
Pay:
D.O.E., as a w2 employee of Crawford Group (benefits available)
Location:
Fully offsite/remote/virtual/WFH. No phone calls, please.
Hours/duration:
Full time consulting, work hours must be conducted in alignment to Pacific Standard Time, ASAP ongoing.
