Social Media Marketing Manager (Sunnyvale, CA)
We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager to for a global IT infrastructure company. This role will manage social media strategy development, execution and reporting/analysis for the Americas and specific product groups. The goals for this role are to increase brand awareness, drive engagement with customers and partners, and drive traffic to the client's web properties. Tracking metrics and analyzing them to improve strategies and execution is a key part of this role.
This is a 12 month (extensions or conversion to FTE possible), 40 hour per week role onsite in Sunnyvale, CA (flexibility to work remotely 1 day per week). This is a w2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee, health benefits offered.
Responsibilities
• Develop the Americas region social media marketing plan, in alignment with the overall global and regional marketing plans.
• Develop product group specific social media marketing plans.
• Develop a social media calendar, social objectives, messaging, write posts, source or create the visual images for the posts.
• Execute the social media calendar by posting relevant content to relevant social media platforms (Linked, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Slideshare).
• Manage day-to-day proactive and reactive engagement on all social media channels
• Monitor customers' social conversations, summarize learnings and disseminate to inform decision making.
• Report monthly/quarterly metrics collected from a variety of tools/systems; and ascertain required actions to improve metrics and social media efforts.
• Help with roll out of social advocacy tool (Dynamic Signal), be first point of contact, provide training, and advocate for usage of tool.
• Use marketing/social media systems: Spredfast, Ominture/Adobe Marketing Cloud, SFDC and others.
Requirements
• 5 + years experience in social media marketing at B2B high tech companies
• Proficiency with social media management platforms such as Spredfast, Sprinkler, Sysomos or Radian6
• Experience with Omniture/Adobe Marketing Cloud or Google Analytics
• Experience with Salesforce.com
• Photoshop/Illustrator skills, preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present plans/ideas
• Strong project management experience, with often changing priorities and tight timelines
• Experience with guiding and managing external agency partners
• Experience with metrics reporting and analysis for continuous improvement
• Bachelors degree
