Please direct your responses to: jennifer@inplay.org. <br /><br /> Manager of Marketing and Outreach<br /><br /> InPlay (www.inplay.org) is an innovative non-profit whose mission is connecting disengaged, low-income children and youth with out-of-school programs, thereby igniting their individual interests and talents. Parents use InPlay's online search solution to access a comprehensive list of local and affordable afterschool and summer camp programs. <br /><br /> We launched in May 2015 and currently serve the cities of San Francisco, Oakland, and Fremont, CA. We are expanding to more cities and plan to develop a national footprint. We build strong out-of-school communities by partnering with Mayors and school district superintendents to organize and support activity provider networks that serve local families.<br /><br /> Position Description<br /><br /> We seek a responsible, self-starter who is passionate about contributing to a successful, growing social enterprise. A stay-at-home parent with strong marketing and outreach experience in local communities would be ideal, since our product targets parents in local school districts. You would be marketing to both parents and out-of-school programs. <br /><br /> You would be solving a problem that all parents face: finding the best out-of-school programs for their kids. By joining a new and rapidly growing organization you will help shape our service offering and build a business. We value new ideas, experimentation and user feedback in our work. <br /><br /> This is a part-time position, with the possibility of becoming full time as the role expands.<<br /><br /> Primary Duties Include:<br /><br /> • Build brand awareness by designing and implementing social marketing strategy<br /><br /> • Contact providers and collect program information for listing on our site<br /><br /> • Supervise and train support staff and volunteers who will assist with outreach<br /><br /> • Attend regional convenings of providers (if easily accessible)<br /><br /> • Maintain contact database (Salesforce) and communication plan<br /><br /> • Write user stories based on customer contact<br /><br /> • Work with CEO, Ops, and Development to tune the product offering<br /><br /> We have far more work than hands to do it. Our funding is secure, with many opportunities for growth. An engaged person will find many fun projects and shape their role as well as the direction of the company. The sky's the limit! Bring your enthusiasm and ideas.<br /><br /> Requirements<br /><br /> • Your own computer and high speed access to the internet. We have daily video conferences. <br /><br /> • Desire and ability to set your own goals and work independently, while producing good results.<br /><br /> • Strong writing and communication skills. <br /><br /> Schedule and location are flexible with a preference for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area or Seattle, WA. We work remotely, and each manage our own schedules. All interested applicants are invited to submit a resume and work samples.
