Formula for Success: You Will Be Instrumental In…

• Projects: Acquisition (based on BASF Strategy or technology push), support, coaching, business case development, approval

• Strategy: Define process to transfer innovation projects into new services, operationalization, deliver input to IS Strategy, update processes and approaches for innovation management, update innovation management portfolio

• Culture: actively foster an innovation culture within GS division

• Controlling: Plan control innovation management budget, control large project budgets

• Idea management: Gather manage unstructured ideas, mature ideas, run idea management platform (Open innovation / Crowdsourcing)

• Trend scouting: Observation, analysis evaluation of market development

• Marketing: Manage communities, present results, establish maintain network, represent innovation management, acquisition of ideas/projects

• Managing and running incubators

Education and Experience

• BA Degree required with at least 5 years of experience in 2 different jobs, relative to Information Technology, Business Development, or 10 years of working experience without a BA degree.

Knowledge Skills Required

• Knowledge of technology and current trends

• Must be innovative and have good understanding of potential projects

• Good project management skills

• Ability to work with others and on teams

• Vendor management experience

• Must be able to identify trends and turn them into concrete projects

• Large personal network

• Good ability to abstract

• Travel 15%
