Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for a Field Marketing Specialist to join our clients growing North America Field Marketing team. The Field Marketing Specialist will work closely with a team of Field Marketing Managers and with their Sales counterparts to build and manage in-region demand through lead generating programs and events. This position will focus on executing marketing activities and providing support for all sales channels with aligned marketing activities.
Responsibilities:
Primary duties include executing marketing plans that align with our clients strategic go-to-market programs, reporting against these plans, and increasing the quality and innovation of the efforts. Secondary responsibilities include ongoing sales and partner communications, marketing tactics for enablement, supporting in-region events and tradeshows, and sharing best practices with the team and across sales regions.
Creativity Innovation:
Adapt company messaging to field-oriented deliverables, compelling customers to engage in company programs
Identify new approaches and considerations in crafting programs to attract enterprise customers
Sales Engagement:
Ability to work with direct Sales and partner sales teams to ensure their engagement and support of key events and field-related activities
Build rapport with and provide excellent customer service to internal and external partners
Use your organizational skills to create a productive workflow that the larger team can understand and follow efficiently
Event Management:
Manage successful execution of conferences, trade shows, hosted events, and customer events, including logistics, traffic-driving strategies, social media, catering, materials, shipping, giveaways and staffing
Select event venues and negotiate competitive sponsorship agreements with vendors
Provide onsite event management or staffing as needed
Manage and track contracts, purchase orders, expense reports and invoices
Work effectively with technology partners and resellers to share costs and increase exposure
Manage event follow-up activities such as emailing, lead loading, payment, invoicing and reporting
Marketo and Salesforce Program Management:
Based on existing email, page, and campaign templates, develop and execute programs in support of events and promotions
Maintain Marketo and Salesforce.com lead database
Deliver Marketo and Salesforce.com reporting at a campaign and territory level
Work with partners on joint marketing programs, list alignment, post-activity reporting and uploading
Skills:
3-5 years of experience in field-facing marketing roles for at least one technology company
Superb communication and analytical skills
Excel in a fast-paced environment and drive to exceed goals
Ability to shift gears quickly and come up with a new approach and renewed energy to tackle any challenge
Demonstrate strong project management experience including the ability to independently prioritize, track complex and/or competing schedules, proactively anticipate and complete tasks and self-initiate programs
Hands on experience with Marketo and Salesforce.com required
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications or related area of study
Rate:
D.O.E. as a W-2 employee of Crawford Group
Location:
Fully onsite at clients offices in San Jose, CA. No phone calls, please.
Hours/Duration:
Full time consulting, ASAP - December 15, 2016 with potential to extend.
