Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for a part-time Event Communications Content Lead consultant with proven experience creating a variety of audience acquisition digital content for B2B tech companies and events. The Lead must also have substantial experience creating externally facing content associated with large organizational change efforts. This work will be done fully remotely/offsite.
The ideal candidate for the Event Communications Content Lead is a skilled writer who has experience writing content for digital journeys across different platforms and for varying personas. This individual must have the maturity and insight to maximize and lead cross-functional team efforts. Writing samples are required for consideration.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing, creating and implementing creative collateral and content for assigned internal clients and project teams on change initiatives
Leverage existing content or create new content from the relevant topic team for the event and create catchy, pithy event-specific content to draw people in for the event
Be the subject matter expert to the team on creating and optimizing digital content
Track results to help provide insight into which content performs best for events
Write, edit and review all collateral to support the Global Events newsletter
Build and manage Global Events communication standards, guidelines and governance around content
Provide best practices, examples, etc. for event content in the event communications Jive site
Skills:
8 -10 years experience creating external audience acquisition digital content/ communications for B2B tech companies and events
Proven results and experience with a large organizational change effort in a corporate setting as it relates to large system implementations, business process re-engineering projects and other large-scale change initiatives
Prior success working fully remotely
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills (samples required.) Experience creating a variety of communication vehicles (print, e-mail, voicemail, video, presentations, face-to-face.)
Social media, web editing and other media skills to help facilitate posting content
Ability to make recommendations for communication formats, vehicles and messaging
Strong customer service focus, ability to interact with team members at all levels of the company
Self-motivated with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, under substantial time pressure and to perform under the demands set by the company
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong project management and organizational skills
Expertise in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and Jive
Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
RATE:
D.O.E. as a W-2 employee of Crawford Group
LOCATION:
Fully offsite/virtual/remote/WFH/telecommute
HOURS/DURATION:
Part-time consulting, 20 hours per week, ASAP ongoing
