As part of Crimson's Product and Markets Services, Consultant needed to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and work with our internal team to conduct a market assessment of the global geo-spatial / image processing industry. Project will involve determining the economic size of aerial and satellite image (processing) markets. identifying market / customer segments; identifying and prioritizing partnering opportunities, and profiling current and emerging pricing structures.
MUST HAVE:
•10+ years of experience working in the geo-spatial/imaging industry in a product marketing or business development role, with focus on image processing
•Understanding of the established market trends, (such as Lidar or similar), emerging market trends and anticipated market disrupters
•Strong knowledge of aerial/ortho images, vector data; extracted from stereo images, satellite non-rectified, satellite ortho rectified, Digital Surface Models (DSM), or Digital Terrain Models (DTM)
•Business contacts in this area that can be leverage for information on current trends and market analysis
•Deep understanding of market trends and requirements related to dominant image data resolution and data currency and refresh cycles
Duration: 10-12 weeks, part-time
Location: Remote, off-site flexibility, some travel required
