International Consulting Group Marketing (www.icgmarcom.com), located in Silicon Valley, is seeking a well-qualified Field Communications Consultant for our leading High Tech client. The mid-level communications consultant will be part of a team of more senior communications managers and related task teams, who provide top quality support to the field as well as sales executives for their global teams.
Location: Onsite at Client HQ with some offsite flexibility. South S.F. Bay Area/Silicon Valley.
Consultant Pay: Depending on experience.
Work schedule: Targeting 40 hours week but may have some flexibility for less hours at times.
Duration: 1 year plus.
Description: Requires a professional and polished communications contributor with proven experience across field communications. The primary focus is the management and execution of a wide variety of projects, events, and deliverables that support a WW sales organization.
This includes providing project management and logistical support for field programs and driving metrics and reporting as it pertains to field communications. Seeking candidates with the proven ability to multi-task and manage projects from creation to execution flawlessly, as well as work collaboratively and flexibly in a deadline-driven environment.
MUST HAVE:
• At least 5 years experience project managing and executing internal/external communications programs, projects and deliverables in fast paced environments
• Two or more years experience with field communications and/or executive communications
• Excel at working across functions and levels, and supporting a large high tech organization. Ideally for one or more sales organizations
• Adept at developing, coordinating and managing logistics for a wide range of events including; All Hands meetings, regional meetings, announcement and training update videos, as well as team support for the annual W.W. Sales Conference
• Editing capability for messages, product launch announcements, success stories, case studies, newsletters, etc.
• Experience managing a communications calendar, and providing site briefing documents for leadership
• Ability to collect, analyze and report on online and offline quantitative and qualitative data/findings
• Moderate or better proficiency with social media tools and techniques
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
STRONGLY PREFER:
• Success in one (or more) mid to large high technology culture/environment/organization
• Exposure to corporate social responsibility programs a plus
• BA/BS in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or related field
