As a key member of our Product team you will contribute to the development of product visions that will transform the new way people work. You will translate your visions into elegant, focused and intuitive solutions that deliver exceptional customer value. You will also be a project leader who harnesses and coordinates all necessary resources to design, develop and market new products.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the needs of Elance clients and contractors and drive changes that accelerate the growth of user base while boosting customer value
• Provide key contributions to product vision
• Define product requirements in close collaboration with both internal stakeholders as well as the Elance community
• Collaborate with interaction and visual designers to develop high-fidelity prototypes
• Work closely with engineering and QA teams to bring your features to life
• Analyze website data to measure the successful of product initiatives as well as understand and improve the user experience

Qualifications:

• Passionate for delivering great online service and user experience
• 3+ years of experience in managing and/or developing online services
• Empathetic, with an intuitive sense for feature design and user requirements
• Strong general understanding of web technologies and agile development
• Excellent analytical skills with "big picture" understanding as well as meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Entrepreneurial and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• BS in Computer Science or related field required; MS preferred
