JOB DESCRIPTION
The Recruiter will participate in proactive recruitment strategies in order to attract key talent in line with corporate objectives. S/he will develop strong partnerships with internal and external customers and build pipelines of qualified candidates to meet both existing and forecasted talent needs. S/he will work with the recruiting team to assist with managing the interviewing, hiring and on-boarding processes from start to finish.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Actively source and identify qualified candidates through a variety of recruitment vehicles including traditional head hunting, cold calling, industry networking and job boards.
• Develop a recruiting and interviewing strategy for open positions
• Work with client groups to understand hiring needs and goals
• Build a strong network of Sales, HR and Finance professionals within Sequoia and our client community.
• Work with our clients to network, build identity and obtain referrals from our trusted community.
• Help build the Sequoia brand for candidates and prospective clients.
• Prescreen resumes, assist with the coordination of interviews with the team, prepare interviewing toolkits and packets, coordinate candidate assessments and keep candidate files current and organized.
• Assist in the on-boarding process for all new hires.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 6+ years experience in Full Cycle Recruiting
• A proven track record of helping build a successful sales organization
• Knowledgeable of CA employment and labor laws and hiring best practices
• Strong written/oral communication skills
• Bachelors Degree required
