Storage Product Marketing - Vertical Solutions
We are looking for a seasoned Storage Product Marketing consultant for a project opportunity at a Storage Solutions company in the South Bay. The project would focus on the development of vertical solutions marketing materials. Verticals to be addressed will include Media & Entertainment, Oil & Gas, and potentially others. The project would include the following tasks: Sales tools development, presentation development, datasheets & solution briefs creation, and web content updates.
This is a 4 to 6 month, 40 hour per week onsite role at the client's offices in the South Bay. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee.
Responsibilities:
o Collateral Creation: Obtain information from subject matter experts and then write copy/edit/manage marketing collateral, including:
o Business Whitepapers
o Technical Whitepaper (edits only)
o Partner collateral (edits only)
o Customer Presentation Decks
o Competitive Selling Guide/Battle card
o Miscellaneous: Call Guide, Videos, Wins Lists, Resource Lists, Reference Architecture
o Press Releases (edits only)
o Project Manage an ongoing set of Collateral Deliverables
o Work with vendors to create collateral layout and shepherd through to final document.
o Website Updates: Review and updates to vertical solutions website and partner pages
o Industry Events: Attend Event meetings as appropriate
o Consistently deliver programs on time, under budget, with success tracking (metrics).
Requirements:
o 5 to 10 years experience in Storage Product Marketing
o Knowledge of vertical marketing
o Excellent writing skills
o Excellent presentation development skills
o Demonstrated success with sales tools development
o Ability to translate technical features and capabilities into customer benefits
o Bachelor's Degree
