Marketing Manager, Social Marketing Software
Join our new team to help create our brand and build the business. You'll use social media to promote our social media marketing software. What could be more fun? You'll use your creativity and drive to create successful digital media campaigns. You'll combine traditional email and online marketing with the latest social media marketing techniques to attract businesses that have active online communities.
The right candidate will have a passion for online marketing and previous experience managing online projects and driving prospect acquisition– with a background in metrics and reporting. In this role, you will plan, implement and track inbound and outbound lead generation campaigns that funnel leads into the sales pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Creating, implementing and managing a range of inbound and outbound marketing campaigns utilizing email, online advertising/PPC, SEO/SEM, social media and lead nurturing.
- Creating marketing content and managing content creation projects/consultants.
- Creating and maintaining reports that track and measure the success of marketing initiatives.
- Recommending improvements to marketing campaigns based on results.
Experience and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years software marketing experience, SaaS marketing a plus
- Manage email marketing campaigns, track results and make improvements
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with high attention to detail
- Creative and self-motivated
- Blog writing and marketing content creation including messaging and positioning
- Basic information layout/design skills for driving creation of clear, visually appealing online content including landing pages and html emails
- Experience marketing to small-medium size businesses a plus
- Use of social media for community building and engagement
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM for managing leads
- Experience with marketing automation and analytics tools a strong plus (i.e Google Analytics, Marketo, Vertical Response, etc...)
