Position Summary:
The Program Assistant, Client Development provides administrative and program support to the Client Development Team, primarily by assisting with the cultivation and acquisition of new clients for RSF's investing, lending, and giving programs. Main duties will include client service, tracking and reporting on development prospects, and providing general administrative support to the development team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Produce monthly development team report
• Assist with client reporting and quarterly client statement mailing
• Process and record investors transactions
• Produce and send investor acknowledgement letters
• Respond to incoming development-related inquiries
• Manage data entry and filing systems, including maintenance of accurate investor information and profiles
• Provide input and recommendations regarding systems and database improvements
• Assist with annual program planning and goal setting
• Coordinate development team meetings, including documentation of meeting content and action items
• Edit and create program documents
• Provide input related to marketing and communications materials. Write blog posts, one-pagers, and articles as needed.
• Document internal processes and procedures and update Twiki as needed. Suggest modifications and improvements when appropriate.
• Ensure accuracy of client fund financial information
• Undertake special projects as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education and Experience: Must have at minimum an Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred. Two to three years of administrative/office work experience are required. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in fundraising and/or development, including interaction with investors and donors. Professional and/or volunteer experience in the nonprofit or foundation sector is desirable.

English Language Communication Skills: Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and listening skills are required, with sensitivity and appreciation for diverse viewpoints and various communication styles.

Finance and Math Skills: Must have a good understanding of general math. Understanding of program budgets is a plus.

Technical Skills: Must be able to effectively use standard business software such as Microsoft Office Suite, with particularly strong Excel skills. Experience with data management software is preferred. Must be able to use the Internet for research and information-gathering. Data entry and clerical skills are extremely important. Competitive candidates must have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and systems thinking skills, and the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.

Judgment and Independence: Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have the ability to tactfully interact with clients, and the ability to handle sensitive client information with a high degree of confidentiality. Must be able to work well under pressure, and meet deadlines and complete tasks in a timely manner.

Physical Demands: Must be able to use a computer for extended periods of time up to 8 hours per day; and must be able to frequently communicate orally and by telephone.

Attendance and Availability: Must be able to work at RSF's offices during regular office hours as set forth in RSF's Employee Manual, and to occasionally work extra hours as necessary to complete time-sensitive projects.
