[KITlist] Sales Presentation Expert/Sales Engineer – Junior/Mid-Level Exp. (SF Bay Area, CA)

Acteva is expanding its dynamic sales team and we are looking for strong team players. The Sales Engineer position is great for someone that excels at product presentations/demos and enjoys uncovering the real needs of a client. This position requires little to no travel.

You are:
Customer Service Orientated – Able to work directly with prospective clients to uncover, distinguish and understand their needs and then able to articulate those needs internally and to the customer.

Eager, adaptable and driven – You are upbeat, energetic and determined; you are not easily discouraged and seek to change a "No" to "Yes". You are ready to learn a new product and become an informative resource during presentations. You have the versatility, toughness, and intensity that a fast-growing organization demands.

A "Sales-Thinking" Individual – You have a proven track record of producing exceptional results while delivering past projects on-time and within budget. You are comfortable with Salesforce.com and understand the importance of good notes and their relationship to a positive customer experience. Prior experience in presenting and demoing SaaS-based solutions to small, medium and large companies is preferred for this position.

Independent and team-focused – You know how to work with a team, ask your co-workers for help/support and can collaborate… yet are individually driven and capable of setting your own goals.

You will work with a team of sales executives and be responsible for:

• Preparing and performing an average of 5-10 product demonstrations per week for individuals or groups using online webinar tools.
• Collaborating with Sales Executives to conduct needs analysis calls, respond to RFPs, and generate proposals.
• Setting up and managing sandbox accounts for multiple clients.
• Designing proofs of concept to help customers visualize how Acteva's solutions can meet their current and expanding business needs
• Becoming a productive member of the team and being able to perform the job with minimal supervision.
• Willing to attend 1-2 local industry tradeshows per year.

Minimum Requirements:
• Outstanding intellectual capability, maturity and judgment.
• Bachelor´s degree with 2+ years of relevant client-facing experience (such as: account management, customer support, or software sales) experienced with Software as a Service solutions
• Basic familiarity and experience with the following UI components: HTML, cookies, browser specifics; some JavaScript and CSS
• Strong customer service skills and able to manage multiple customer accounts concurrently
• Able to identify a customer´s needs and position the solution to fit them
• Strong consultative, listening, and analytical skills
• Professional communication skills – speaking (phone presence) and writing (emails and Salesforce notes)
• Well-organized, with attention to detail
• Ability to work with technical or functional audiences and to effectively translate technical information to non-technical individuals
• Comfort working with clients in varied time zones

Desired Qualifications:
• A great sense of humor and a fun, upbeat attitude
• Previous experience within event, training/class or community management
• Prior experience in a demanding and dynamic software or start-up environment is a plus
• Prior experience in presenting and demoing SaaS-based solutions; experience with software integration experience; and able to deliver of a variety of complex technical projects involving web services-based integrations
• Experience with Salesforce.com as an end user
• Nonprofit experience is highly desirable
