BioPharmX, Inc. is a Silicon Valley-based biotechnology company that seeks to provide innovative products through unique, proprietary platform technologies for pharmaceutical, over-the-counter ("OTC"), and dietary supplement applications in the fast growing health and wellness markets. Which includes women's health, dermatology, and otolaryngology (ears, nose throat). The company is comprised of approximately 20 employees with vast experience in all aspects of business from start-ups to large public companies.
Description
We are looking for an energetic self-starter to provide support to various departments within our fast-paced start up. We need them to be assertive, highly organized, with exceptional interpersonal skills for handling all types of situations and personalities. Due to the nature of business, the position will require the ability to multi-task and switch priorities at a moments notice.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• This position will act as the first line of contact for all incoming visitors to BioPharmX: they will prepare meeting spaces, greet visitors, give tours and make introductions.
• Provide daily administrative support to Operations, Accounting, and R&D departments within BioPharmX.
• Sophisticated company calendar management: prioritize inquires and requests, troubleshoot conflicts, and make judgments and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements.
• Maintain office supplies: bulk purchasing of kitchen essentials and office products.
• Prepare multiple outgoing shipments via FedEx and USPS.
• Help with expense reports, scanning, printing, and filing of documents.
Qualifications Education
• Ability to thrive in an entreprenureal environment, where tasks are constantly reviewed and changing due to start-up nature of business.
• Expert level with PC/OS X systems and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to be on-call and flexible as schedule and business dictates.
• Strong interpersonal skills both written and verbal with high attention to detail is essential.
• Must display good judgment in handling confidential matters with discretion.
• College degree and/or equivalent administrative experience is required.
