Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for a Marketing Communications Consultant to support a Partner Marketing team focused on Cloud services and solutions. The Partner MarCom Consultant will be an energetic marketing communications expert who works collaboratively with team members to manage the development of a global integrated go-to-market execution strategy for Partners that aligns to key business priorities, campaigns, brand, customer partner care-abouts.
The Partner MarCom Consultant will develop a global go-to-market execution plan that supports all the necessary Cloud related activities including campaign integration, launches, announcements, promotions, etc. The Consultant will manage the execution elements of the optimal marcom mix including web marketing, collateral, case studies, partner success deliverables, videos, events, demos, broadcasts/webinars, digital, social media, demand gen, influencer, sales partner enablement, etc.
The Partner MarCom Consultant will take source documentation created by the subject matter experts in the business and will partner with Global Partner Marketing for a partner business proposition, writing a simple, clear, compelling and actionable narrative for our partners in the form of collateral/assets. Strong writing and storytelling is necessary in this role. The ideal Consultant will be a self-starter with a firm understanding of the marketing communications mix, and has experience working closely with executives and decision makers. The MarCom Consultant will manage a variety of projects in parallel, as well as lead by influence at and above peer level.
Specific Responsibilities:
Writing, storytelling - crafting compelling narratives for our client's partners
Leveraging Marketing Communications skills to achieve business results
Ability to identify priorities and deliver tangible results using sound business practices
Develop "trusted partner" relationship with Product Marketing/Marketing Programs teams
Synthesize internal messages from multiple sources and make relevant for partner audiences
Negotiate and influence actions of team members outside team
Resolve conflicts diplomatically
Utilize data to analyze programs and recommend corrections and improvements
Apply innovation and define new tools and practices
Plan and track all programs, as well as launch related assets and deliverables
Manage the work of external vendors when necessary
Manage Success Metrics: Establish measurable goals and objectives for deliverables and report out on overall success, as well as that of specific programmatic aspects (e.g., social media coverage)
Skills:
11-15 years' experience of global marketing communications with experience in the Service Provider technology industry
Cisco experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of Cisco products, solutions and markets desirable
Experience developing communications for technical products solutions or architectures such as Cloud
Experience working in agency or account manager roles in marketing environments
Excellent written and oral presentation skills – storytelling
Strong collaborative personality; strong business communications, project management and operational skill
Ability to create and deliver presentations that persuade client groups
Understand branding, copyright, and creative/intellectual property contractual knowledge
Superior interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills
Ability to make hard decisions and trade-offs for the greater good of the business
Excellent relationship and team building capabilities
Bachelor���s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar required
RATE: D.O.E; as W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available
LOCATION: 50% onsite at client's office in San Jose, CA (Preferably onsite: Tues, Wed, Thurs. Suggested to be onsite Wednesdays for team meetings), 50% offsite/remote/WFH. No phone calls please. Local Bay Area candidate only.
