Social Media Manager
Guardant Health (GHI) is dedicated to helping bring personalized medicine into routine clinical practice by tracking cancer in real-time. Harnessing advanced technology, GHI develops clinical oncology tests and services that provide non-invasive genomic sequencing of tumors to help oncologists determine the right treatment at the right time for each patient. We are currently seeking a Social Media Manager to join our team. The Social Media Manager will implement the social media strategy to aid in developing brand awareness, generate inbound traffic and encourage product adoption.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Implement the social media strategy, coordinating with the internal team to ensure effectiveness and encourage adoption of relevant social media techniques into all of the company's products and services.
• Ensure social media tools are kept up to date.
• Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities. Duties include online advocacy, writing editorial, community –outreach efforts, promotions, etc.
• Manage presence in social networking sites including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter posting and seeding relevant content.
• Manage a Blogger outreach program and build an active brand ambassador network to spread the word about Guardant Health.
• Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
• Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications.
• Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
• BA or BS degree preferred. Science background a plus.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants and how they can be deployed in different scenarios.
• Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Good technical understanding and ability to pick up new tools quickly.
• Working knowledge of principles of SEO.
• Public Relations, Marketing, Sales, and Community Management experience a plus.
