Receptionist for Ecumenical Hunger Project.
Employee is responsible for providing the first line of welcome and assistance to EHP's clients, donors and volunteers when they arrive at the EHP front office or call on the phone. Promote EHP's values of

Primary Responsibilities
1. First point of contact to clients, donors, and volunteers
2. Ensure that all front office visitors, donors, volunteers, families and community members are greeted in a warm and friendly manner and are assisted promptly
3. Handle clients requests
Answer all incoming phone calls and assist or redirect callers
4. Coordinate front office area, including client sign-in sheets and appointment schedule oversight.
5. Maintain paperwork for various departments
5. Perform general clerical duties
6. Assist as needed contacting clients for their request
7. Assist in data entry for client database
8. Update calendar for volunteer schedule
9. Update referral list
10. Provide support for program as needed
11. Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure front desk coverage at all time, including
breaks and lunch
12. Maintain and organize brochures and other materials in the reception area
13. Keep volunteer forms and other forms (building usage, visitor forms) available at front
desk
14. Assist with case management duties
15. Volunteer assistance
16. Order office and janitorial supplies
17. Maintain hallway bulletin board
18. Create and post notices for office closure
19. Assist management staff as directed
20. Provide occasional translation service
21. Other related duties
Note: Duties and responsibilities shall include the principal functions of the job. The job description shall not be construed as a contract and is not a complete list of all miscellaneous, incidental or other duties which may be assigned during normal operations. Overtime will be required during certain times of the year.
Required Skills/Experience
1. High School graduate or equivalent
2. Knowledge of office procedures (including standard Microsoft Office software).
3. Must have experience using multi-phone lines
4. Experience working in a busy office setting with the ability to multi-task while handling a
Constant client stream
5. Demonstrated proficiency in English and Spanish, oral and written required
6. Able to maintain professional demeanor while dealing with stressful situations, showing
courtesy and compassion
7. The ability to interact with a diverse group of clients, community members and volunteers
Bilingual in Spanish and English
