Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for a Presentation Designer experienced in the art of executive story-telling through presentations and visual communications. This is a full time consulting opportunity with an established technology company in Santa Clara. (The company has been positioned in the Leaders Quadrant by Gartner for 14 consecutive years.) The role requires full time on-site support in Santa Clara, where you will partner with the Office of the President and CEO to design impactful technology presentations that inspire internal employee audiences and external customer, partner and investor audiences. The Presentation Designer will work directly with the CEO and the Executive Communications lead to provide graphic design support for presentations.
The ideal consultant will have prior experience working directly with executives at global companies. The Presentation Designer will be expected to help extract strategic points from the executives and guide the process of story refinement. Working in a team of three, the Consultant will be an equal collaborator with the CEO and Executive Communications lead in the story development process for keynote presentations and internal employee communications. The Consultant must be able to work "real time," providing relevant business input to simplify visual assets and increase the impact of a presentation. This is not a role where you will wait to be told what to design. This is a role that requires your active participation and business savvy.
Specific Responsibilities:
Collaborate with executive and lead in the story development process for keynote presentations and internal employee communications
Collaborate with executives to identify strategic points and guide the process of story refinement
Carefully identify the desired outcome of a presentation and provide relevant input for refinements based on expertise and tangible professional experience
Provide ideas and solutions of how to simplify presentations for greater impact
Assist the Brand Marketing team to refine company icon library, website visual guidelines, and overall visual communications and brand template
Skills:
7-10 years of relevant executive communications presentation design experience, working for a large enterprise company
Executive presence; experience working with CXO's
Extreme attention to detail and accuracy
Attitude of accountability; committed to high quality output
Flexible and resilient personality; patient with executives in the story development process
Capable of remaining calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
Has the presence of mind to know when to slow-down to increase the quality of the work
Capable of asking probing questions real-time with a CEO; must pull out salient points to be communicated through visual arts
Experience or familiarity with the Internet of Things or Industrial Internet concepts
Expert level PowerPoint skills
Sample presentation work will be required
BA/BS in Communications, Business, Marketing, Design or similar is required
RATE: D.O.E., as W-2 employee of Crawford Group, benefits available
