Employment Description:
Our client is actively seeking a product marketing leader to join our team, to focus on "information control" -- our archiving, governance, compliance, and other products related to knowing where documents, files, and emails are, where they've been, and controlling where they will be.
Candidates should have several years of experience in product marketing and/or product management, be familiar with creating and executing on go-to-market plans, and have a love for concise messaging, written or spoken.
If you can technically understand products and explain them simply; if you can empathize with customers and sales and speak in their terms; if you can lead and get consensus on a strategy but also dive in and produce materials in a frenzy of powerpoint, word, and Excel (while also guiding others to do so), you'll go far in this role.
Long Form:
Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the successful candidate will develop a strategic vision, establish the go-to-market execution plan and support the sales and channel to increase revenue and market share for our cloud-based archiving, eDiscovery, and compliance solutions -- the fastest growing product line at our company.
The candidate will also support field and channel sales with training, sales tools, deal support and tactical marketing activities, including product and solution messaging, web site content, trade shows, channel event support and collateral development.
This position will report directly to the Vice President of Product Marketing, and will work closely with product management, corporate marketing and executive staff.

· Demonstrated experience in supporting sales teams and channels to increase deal close rates and revenue objectives
· Candidate must be able to express ideas, marketing and sales strategy in a compelling manner, build relationships and effectively work with the sales and channel organization, marketing colleagues, channel partners and customers at all levels.
