We are looking for a Graphic Designer to bring a strong digital experience with enthusiasm and desire to create leading-edge design. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Marketing Communications.
The Graphic Designer opportunity requires a strong background in design for both web and print, is a highly creative, innovative thinker.
It is important this individual can manage multiple tasks and projects at once, collaborate well with colleagues and present creative solutions and artistic materials that meet corporate requirements and convey the project owner's vision and message.
Responsibilities for this position include:
Responsible for the concept, design and delivery of a wide range of marketing, promotional and sales enablement materials including: collateral material, landing pages, email campaigns, graphics for videos, booth graphics, PowerPoint graphics, banners, and more
Develop creative concepts, with an eye towards innovation and quality, through discussions and planning sessions with key team members
Identify new trends in design and form for delivery of materials
Understand the importance of the user experience, engagement and conversion specifically as it pertains to digital media and assets (email campaigns, landing pages, web pages)
Evolves and maintains branding guidelines for both print and web
Support all aspects of the business including marketing, sales, service, and internal communications with appropriate materials
Develop a creative library of materials easily accessed by stakeholders
Maintain an attitude of continually raising the bar with regard to quality and level of design created
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in graphic design, web design, or related field
Minimum 5 years design experience for B2B high-tech company
Strong online portfolio demonstrating various types of design (collateral materials, web design, email, landing page, banner ads, etc.)
Strong knowledge of the most recent versions of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) and other leading edge tools
Detailed knowledge of fundamental design principles and disciplines that affect typography, color use, animation, composition, use of space, distribution of information
Persuasive communication skills to present and defend design decisions
Knowledge of front-end coding like HTML(5), CSS(3) and JavaScript/jQuery a plus
Skills & Specifications
A keen eye for design and new trends in online marketing
Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize to meet delivery schedules
Solid understanding of standards with regard to designing for web and print
Must be detail-oriented, focused and deadline-driven
Versatility in many different areas of promotional mediums including web, email, print, signage, and booth graphics
