Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for a full time/salaried Content Marketing Manager for our client in Santa Clara, CA. The Manager will have a unique opportunity to plan, write and produce various types of online and offline content that will increase our client's digital footprint, move leads along the buyer's journey, and support customer success. You should have a proven track record of accomplishments in content marketing within a technical B2B environment, and a natural ability to write in a variety of styles for different audiences. This hands-on role requires a high level of creativity, relentless attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will work collaboratively with our client's demand generation, digital marketing, brand, and solutions marketing teams.
The content marketing manager will be responsible for defining and overseeing the infrastructure, tools, processes and metrics that are required to manage and optimize cross-functional content. This role will also educate internal constituents on how to apply best practices to content creation and campaign development. You will also provide editorial oversight of content produced in other parts of the marketing organization. Must be able to provide 3-5 recent writing samples in order to be considered for the role.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with designers, solution marketers, sales professionals, external influencers, and campaign teams to strategize, plan, write, and produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our prospects
Develop and manage editorial calendar for content initiatives
Create content assets and resources to drive and nurture leads (e.g. ebooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, templates, email and landing page copy, etc.).
Support product content (e.g. sales enablement documentation, case studies, product videos, website copy, blog posts) to articulate the benefits of our products
Assist with all steps of writing projects, from information gathering to content development, review, editing, design, compliance, proofreading and final publication
Help craft executive communication and marketing materials and tools to ensure clear, concise information is shared in a timely manner to key internal and external stakeholders
Skills:
Minimum 5 year's work experience in content marketing, marketing communications, or product marketing
Experience with demand generation a strong plus
Extremely strong writing skills, together with an ability to research topics, synthesize information, and find the 'hook' to any project
Past experience producing content for technical solutions in a B2B environment, including whitepapers, ebooks, infographics, blogs, SlideShare, etc.
Experience with developing personas, outlining buyer's journey, and developing content plan accordingly
Incredibly detailed and organized, results-oriented, with an affinity for technology
Strong Microsoft Word skills and general working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and other business applications
Strong team player dedicated to delivering great work, with a sense of humor
Excellent time management skills
Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high stress environment and deal with multiple projects and deadlines
Familiarity with SEO principles basic HTML, and Hubspot preferred
An opinion on the Oxford comma
BA/BS in Communications, Business, Marketing, Journalism, or English
Salary: Full time/permanent/salaried employee of client. Competitive total compensation package D.O.E., w2, including annual bonus and comprehensive benefits
