We are looking for a Staff Accountant with 2-4 years industry experience as well as a Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance. You will need to be well versed in, but not limited to, public audits, cash and credit cards. Must be willing to learn and grow with our company.

Job Description:
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the staff accountant will have amazing opportunity to join in the Company's growth. Accordingly, this role will require a hands-on approach by performing a broad range of activities. Responsibilities and Duties:
· Ensure daily cash transactions are summarized and entered into Netsuite.
· Responsible for the Corporate credit cards making sure entries are entered and coded to the appropriate GL and departments daily.
· Ensure the execution of monthly, quarterly and year end close under the Company's financial close calendar.
· Take ownership of the vendor listing by confirming addresses are correct.
· Prepare reconciliations for cash and credits cards on a monthly basis.
· Assisting and providing guidance to accounting intern.
· Assist in providing documents requested for external audits
· Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
· Assist team in any operational items that arise on a daily basis
· Vision and ability to identify and implement process improvements and accounting systems as part of continuous improvement initiatives
· Audit of expense reports and confirm they are within the Companies polices.
· Support Accounting Manager and VP of Finance on special projects
Skills and Experience
Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, with a minimum 2 years related accounting and finance experience
· Experience in NetSuite is a plus but not required
· Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, US GAAP
· Great attention to detail and solid organization skills
· Ability to multi-task, work under stressful conditions, and meet deadlines
· Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals
· Work independently as well as work with all departments and team members.
· Strong interpersonal, excellent written and verbal communication skills required
· Able to thrive in a fast pace-setting
· Public audit experience preferred
· Strong excel skills with proficient understanding of systems
