OTM seeking a Sr. Business Analyst for long term project work for direct client project. Client is Fortune 500, stable, public and growing.

** Local candidates with Local Experience preferred due to in person interviewing. (Local = San Francisco Bay Area)

Responsibilities:

-Under general direction of senior project team members, coordinate, facilitate, execute on project goals and objects and provide periodic updates and feedback.

-Work with business user community to gather requirements, document existing business processes, and make recommendations on how to improve existing business workflows and processes, and obtain consensus from disparate business teams.

-Gather requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, task and workflow analysis, and prototyping.

-Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.

-Identify and Document Change Management Needs and Risk Analysis/Mitigation

-Collaborate with team members in an onsite office environment

Skills:

-Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written

-Experience working within a multinational IT organization

-Experience with Web Content Management systems; e.g., Documentum Web Publisher, Adobe/Day CQ5AEM, and/or Interwoven Team Site

-Experience with business process re-engineering and optimization

-Software Prototyping Techniques (e.g., Evolutionary Prototyping, Incremental Prototyping, etc.)

Ability to create professional-caliber documentation including Business and Requirements Process documentation (including but not limited to UML Use Case, UML Activity Diagram), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Scripts

-Experience with Business Process Modeling tools such as MS Visio, Visual-Paradigm, Rational Rose, Power Point, etc.

-Understanding of User interface development processes (e.g., Agile or scrum-based development)

-Extensive experience working with stakeholders and creating PowerPoint slides.

-Ability to demonstrate a clear Understanding of the impact of technology on business, especially around web portals and content management systems

-Ability to meet deadlines, document and understand web publishing application and processes, write system specifications and requirement documents.

-Very organized and detail oriented

-Manage process, timelines, and change requests
