We are looking for a leader in the SOX Compliance community to join us to implement this proven methodology to new clients in Bay Area.
This is an opportunity to practice and expand your already established management expertise in the internal audit and SOX profession where you will have an opportunity to manage compliance projects, provide outstanding internal audit and compliance services to our customers and to develop and retain a solid team of compliance specialist at all levels.
Your Role:
• Manage, direct, and monitor Internal Audit and SOX compliance teams, possibly at multiple engagements
• Plan, execute and manage internal audits
• Review all work products in the course of the compliance process
• Hire and retain staff, provide mentoring technical guidance and training; participate in performance reviews and career growth
• Develop a project vision and set challenging personal and team goals
• Maintain communication with clients to manage expectations and ensure deadlines are being met
• Work with other Managers to help ensure proper deployment of the audit staff
Job Requirements
• Bachelor´s or graduate degree in accounting from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 5 + years of recent work experience as an Internal Auditor or SOX compliance manager
• CIA or CPA license required
• Big 4 or large firm experience a plus
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated supervisory and management experience and the ability to work successfully with a diverse group of clients and employees
• Advanced working knowledge of technical literature related to audit and SOX compliance
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to successfully multi-task projects
• Highly motivated self-starter with excellent interpersonal abilities and a drive to be the best
