Title: Events Program Manager
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 3+ months (with possibility of extension)
Experis has a great Events Program Manager position that requires the following skills:
- 7+ years experience as an Events Program Manager
- Own the overall plan of IT participation, maintain overall deck of activities and be able to present as needed.
- Project management on all aspects of the Pavilion, Discovery Program, and customer appreciation event in partnership with events team.
- Coordinate content requirements between the business units, partners, marketing team and management
- Manage relationship, socialize ideas and facilitate approvals.
- Coordinate with PR team and marketing teams.
- Project manage the development of agendas
- Track deliverables, coordinate meetings, confer with teams of many other senior executives within and outside the group.
- Track requests from many sources and ensure action is taken
- Must have experience working on big events and work with big vendors
- Must be able to move forward in uncertain environments; drive fuzzy situations to clarity and indecision to decision
- Must be able to determine what needs to be done in a proactive manner
- Must have good email and phone skills, suitable for interacting with very senior executives and their staff
