Job Description
Responsibilities:
· Work closely with technical leads & architects in the development of world class online video platform (OVP) applications.
· Develop SaaS software for online video platform for web browser, TV, mobile, and tablet devices using PHP, Spring and RESTful Web Services
· Embrace tools and technologies including: Spring MVC, Spring JDBC, Spring AOP, Hibernate, EHCache, Spring WS, Freemarker, Sitemesh, JMS, JUnit, JMock, Jasper reports, Sonar, Eclipse, Subclipse, TestNG, slf4j, hsql, and easy mock
· Write quality code for on-time, on-budget deployment according to project management schedules
· Work with a team to ensure our client's end product meets their standards for enterprise software applications
Requirements:
· 2+ years of professional PHP development experience
· Experience implementing industry best practices
· MySQL Development and design skills
· JavaScript, AJAX
· Experience with REST and other services models
- Experience with Bugzilla and other tracking tools
Responsibilities
· PHP coding, debugging and unit testing per technical requirements and design
· Database design and development to support enterprise wide data models
· Development of product documentation
· Development of extensible APIs to support sales and marketing efforts
· Support and maintenance of existing codebase
· Solid understanding of web based or content management software development
· Good understanding of process and methods such as AGILE
· Be committed to design, build and deployment excellence
· Excellent communications skills
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems or similar
