The Sage Group is looking for a Senior User Experience Designer to work for a large multinational company that is a leading innovator and designer of consumer electronics and software products in Silicon Valley. This individual will be responsible for designing points of sale user interface for multiple transactions.
Responsibilities Include:
- Create designs that are simple, elegant and useful as well as beautiful and approachable while conforming to brand guidelines and standards.
- Pull user data together and provide concise reporting for key stakeholders, including executive level.
- Absorb user research performed and work with business and technical teams to itemize and prioritize functionality changes to create a world class user experience through many iterations.
- Work cross-functionally with retail, marketing, engineering, and QA teams from brainstorming to design implementation.
- Exercise judgment and apply creativity and ingenuity to solve complex design and development problems.
Skills Required:
- 7+ years UX/UI design experience creating innovative and simple user experiences for web, desktop or mobile applications
- Expert knowledge of user-centered design principles coupled with strong visual design skills.
- Excellent project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of large scale systems from a UX perspective including navigation, content architecture, and visual aesthetics
- Strong understanding and experience with the Mac platform
- Relentless attention to detail and an uncommon eye for aesthetic taste and quality
