We are seeking a Manufacturing Finishing Supervisor to join our growing production team.
Job Responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Finishing Supervisor you will effectively lead your team of production and NDT employees to deliver a high quality API product to EVRAZ customers.
Additional responsibilities of the Manufacturing Finishing Supervisor include:
· Ensuring that the pipe meets the American Petroleum Institute (API) and Customer testing guidelines and standards.
· Overseeing and coordinating the visual, ultrasonic, and hydrostatic testing of pipe.
· Overseeing and coordinating the repairing, processing, grinding, and beveling of pipe.
· Ensuring API and Customer guidelines and standards are met.
· Ensuring the teams puts safety first, creating a proactive culture with regards to eliminating potential hazards.
· Effectively leading and motivating a team of production and NDT employees to deliver a high quality API product to our customers.
Job Requirements
As a Manufacturing Finishing Supervisor you must have experience utilizing lean manufacturing tools and concepts in order to continuously reduce waste.
Additional requirements of the Manufacturing Finishing Supervisor include:
· Bachelor's Degree in related field.
· Solid understanding of flow, cycle times, bottlenecks and quick changeovers.
· Must be able to problem solve and collaborate in a team environment.
· Must be able to identify the root cause of problems and implement solutions in a timely manner.
· Background in Production or Quality Management is highly desirable.
· Understanding of API and pipe steel making, strongly preferred.
