About the Job
Nexant is currently seeking an outstanding Senior Product Marketing Manager to develop and manage product marketing initiatives to deliver product success through market introduction, field enablement, and thought leadership. The role will focus on effectively positioning and differentiate Nexant (transmission and distribution) solutions, and manage and implement marketing programs. The position will report to the Director of Product Marketing and be based in our Foster City, CA office. To be successful in this role, you should have experience across several marketing specialties including field and product marketing, competitive analysis, and sales tools in the energy industry.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Work across a cross functional team to successfully deliver product and sales success
· Work with Nexant subject matter experts to develop marketing collateral and content
· Develop and deliver product marketing programs and campaigns
· Work with the sales team to support deliver sales tools, customer presentations, and successful market trials
Qualifications
· 5 -10 years of applicable working experience in the energy industry experience with the ability to engage in technical discussions with power systems engineers
· BSEE with understanding of utility power systems, MBA a plus
· Knowledge of operations and planning of GIS, OMS, DMS, and EMS applications
· Experience developing and supporting product marketing programs and demand generation campaigns
· Experience working in a fast-growing/dynamic company environment preferred
· Excellent communication skills, in written, verbal and presentation formats
· CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.com
· Team player with the desire to work on multiple exciting initiatives and programs
