As a strategic partner, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The HRBP serves as a consultant to management on Human Resource related issues. A successful HRBP will act as employee champion and change agent. The HRBP assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. Communicating needs proactively with our HR department and business management, the HRBP seeks to develop integrated solutions. The HRBP formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.
The HRBP will have responsibility for Human Resources functions for Data & Analytics. To effectively support our Data & Analytics center of excellence, the HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the organization's financial position, strategic plans, culture and competition. The HRBP may travel up to 20%.
This key role reports into the Domestic Senior HR Business Partner and will work closely with members of the Senior Leadership Team (C-level), client organizations and human resource teams. This role will be located in Alpharetta, GA.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain strategic partners with clients and managers to ensure that HR strategy is aligned with those of the business
- Consult with management providing HR guidance when appropriate
- Drive implementation of key HR programs such as succession planning, performance management and compensation programs
- Coach managers to drive greater productivity and high engagement
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention
- Provide guidance on organization design, workforce planning, learning and development and succession planning
- Participate in special projects as needed
Desired Skills and Experience
Required Education and Work Experience:
- 7-10 years of HR Business Partner experience (with the last 3-5 years supporting Senior Leadership clients)
- Bachelors or other advanced degree in Business
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, performance management and respective local employment laws
- Experience working with analytics or technology organizations preferred
- SPHR certification is a plus

- Comfortable working with different cultural norms and practices
- Ability to understand issues domestically and internationally and communicate effectively with clients
- Take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation
- Business literacy such as Finance, Tax and Legal and key HR financials
- M&A experience, specifically on due diligence and integration planning, is a plus
