Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a full time Event Marketing/Brand Experience Strategist consultant for one of its technology clients in Santa Clara, CA.
The Event Marketing/Brand Experience Strategist will create a new event brand strategy for our client�s Tier 1 events. The Strategist will review existing methods of audience acquisition and prepare a plan targeting the technology sector to acquire new event attendees and members to our clients� organization as well as increase the overall brand awareness of our client�s core events. The consultant will be responsible for discovery, audit and analysis of our client�s current event brands, and will execute the development and delivery of brand experience programs to increase overall awareness and support the growth of our client�s unique brands.
The ideal consultant has a professional and direct communications style, with the ability to provide strategic guidance and specific recommendations to our client to optimize their events related brand positioning.
Specific Responsibilities:
Perform discovery and audit to gather data and gain an understanding of delivered events and clients� current event brand awareness; review and evolve existing research as necessary to gain insight
Discover, review and understand data provided, including analysis and commentary on the client�s event brands, as well as relevant data and input on industry, market transitions and competitive landscape
Aggregate and analyze findings for discovery/audit phase and identify common themes and insights
Create documentation and develop materials to share findings and insights with key stakeholders
Identify challenges for client�s event brand strategies; create new brand strategies and attendee experience programs to help optimally position the client�s event brand in the marketplace and influence favorable position against competitors
Define target audience demographics, developing key audience acquisition strategies and programs per event brand: review existing methods of audience acquisition and prepare strategy to acquire new attendees
Increase brand awareness of client�s core events, bring in new generation of members and construct audience acquisition strategy to add technical audience attendees to existing list of public sector members/attendees
Determine the most effective social media communications vehicle and create a social media road-map for each event
Skills:
7-10 years� experience creating event marketing/branding/audience acquisition and attendee experience strategies, including the technology sector
Ability to analyze and develop an events brand identity strategy, as well as flawlessly deliver key programs
Superb understanding of how event marketing, branding, market demographics and audience acquisition strategy is applied to large events in the technology sector
Strong consultative capabilities with the ability to inform, make recommendations to, and diplomatically influence C-Suite stakeholders
Excellent communications skills, written and verbal
Solid market research/industry analysis capabilities; information technology advisory experience a strong plus
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint
Bachelor�s Degree in Business, Brand Management, Marketing, Communications or similar
Association, industry forum, symposium experience a strong plus
Public sector (federal) experience a strong plus
RATE: D.O.E; as W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available
