Documentum Captiva Developer position – Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas Area

Outstanding contract opportunity for a Documentum Captiva Developer to provide ongoing support of existing Enterprise Content Management environments utilizing Documentum and Captiva applications with our direct client in Dallas, Texas

Developer Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis, design, develop, test, and implement solutions for projects and requests of business partners, varying in scope and complexity.
- Complete programming and/or design specification assignments to design, develop, optimize and maintain web-based applications using Documentum and Captiva software tool kits.
- Availability for 24/7 application production support may be required.

Required Skills:
Candidate must possess strong analytical skills with specific knowledge for designing, developing, implementing, optimizing and maintaining Documentum 6.5 and 6.7 and Captiva applications.
- Experience developing WDK applications and/or actions
- Experience using SDT (Structured Data Types) and (PDT) Packaged Data Types
- Experience developing UI utilizing TaskSpace based upon business requirements
- Experience utilizing BAM in differing scenarios based upon business requirements
- Experience utilizing xCP Development Lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of DA, WebTop, DQL, API and fundamental Documentum core functionality
- Experience coding in Java, XML, scripting
- Experience and knowledge in core OS functionality for Windows Server 2008
- Strong and demonstrable analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in WebSphere and Apache technologies
- Experience utilizing different xCelerators in case based practice areas
- Experience building SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) based applications
- Experience developing functional prototypes and ‘selling’ them to the business community
- Experience and knowledge in AIX scripting and general navigation using telnet, ftp, sftp, shell scripting
- Experience and knowledge in .NET programming
- Strong Oracle and SQL Server knowledge
- Strong ability to communicate in both written and verbal formats, including participation in team and business partner meetings
- Possess Project Management expertise
- Provide guidance and direction to full time staff
- Work well in a team environment, sharing knowledge and training other team members
- Provide reports, statistics and guidance to management as required
- Document time spent on activities
- Occasionally provide Level 3 support for all users of ECM
- Work in a fast paced, high stress, multi-tasking environment
- Experience migrating from WebTop to D2 desirable.

- AIX, Windows 2008, and IBM WebSphere application server
- Scripting: AIX scripting, telnet, ftp, sftp, and shell scripting
- Languages: VB6, J2EE - Java, .NET, JSP/Servlets, HTML, DHTML, XML, DQL, and Oracle SQL

Other Requirements:
- Sponsorship is not being offered at this time
- A Successful, detailed background check will be required prior to starting the project
- Local candidates preferred but not required. Must be able to work 5 days a week onsite at client’s office  site.
