About Global Communications
Sage is looking for a Global Communications PR Manager to be responsible for generating awareness of our client���s business; thought leadership for the company���s technology, products and vision; and core internal/external messaging to drive primary communications goals. The group includes five areas of focus: Executive Communications; Functional Communications; News Bureau; Product Technology; and Campaigns Customers.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Global Communications Campaigns Customers Team, it���s vendors and broader Marketing stakeholders to execute strategic media relations efforts related to the WW goals of a 2014 Comms Customer Breadth Program
Help drive customer recruitment and program participation that increases media coverage among traditional and new media influencers (technology trades, business press, blogs, etc.)
Lend to the creative process in developing new ideas, compelling stories and innovative techniques to secure and tell the narrative through our customers��� businesses
Maintain an organization system that documents customer pipeline activity and helps track overall program efforts
Requirements:
Be available 40 hours per week
Have strong verbal and written communication skills
Be a strategic thinker and solid executer
Be available for in-person and/or phone meetings as needed and agreed upon
Solid understanding and proven track record of public relations strategies, programs, campaigns, media relations, etc.
Independent thinking combined with the flexibility to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Must be a motivated self-starter
Available: Immediately
Location: Palo Alto
Duration: 1 year+
